Happy Equine Transport moved to Antwerp (Belgium)!

With a new enthusiastic team, always with a smile, we are ready to take care of your horse(s) or pony(s) with safe, comfortable transport.

About our location

From our new location in Antwerp, we provide national and international transport of horses/ponies with our brand new Krismar Stallion Version L3 from 2023.

We are huge horse lovers ourselves and we now use that love during the transport of all horses. It doesn’t matter to us whether your horse has to go abroad, to the vet or to a competition: we take care of your four-legged friend down to the last detail.

Get to know our new team!

Obviously I am a woman passionate about horses. Ever since I was 6 years old I went to these beautiful animals and I already took lessons at a riding school in the area. Even when I went on holiday abroad with my parents, I always wanted to ride a horse, through high mountains, cross over the meadows, nothing was too crazy!

At the age of 15 I finally got my first own pony with which I had a lot of fun until I got too big for her. We went looking for a big horse. This eventually became a beautiful 10 year old Zangersheide gelding that I unfortunately had to put to sleep due to chronic illness. I was very sad about this, so I waited years to look for a new loyal 4-footer. Soon I noticed that I missed horses around me, horses give me strength and the love a horse can give is unconditional.

At that moment I came across a nice, especially beautiful black Shetland pony with pedigree that I immediately fell in love with and bought. I stood with an older farmer and also had a few welsh ponies that she could walk between.

The farmer told me that he did inspections and shows with his welsh ponies which I found very interesting and fascinating.

I really got into this at the time and really wanted to do this too! So I started by purchasing 2 welsh ponies and we also started breeding foals from them, that quickly became about 10.

I did a lot of shows and bred about 3 foals a year from the broodmares.

I also bought a beautiful 2 year old Welsh Cob mare in 2017. I broke her saddle myself, so we have a very special bond together. She is now 6 years old and I ride her dressage and often go on trail rides. I also sometimes go to welsh shows with her.

In short, from a dressage rider to a breeder and show world, everything with horses is fun!

My husband has also become infected with the “Horse Virus”. He always thought horses were special beautiful animals. He has a lot of peace in him which makes him good with horses. He also occasionally rides my Welsh Cob mare which is going very well!

We will therefore always be on the road together to offer the best, trusted, professional service to our customers.
